Get Another Email Address
I would recommend that you set up an alternative email address to use when you sign up with survey companies. You can do this by getting a FREE email account from a number of companies (click EMAIL INFO on the left) Each survey company will send you "invitations" to take part in a survey. By having a separate email address, you will be able to review and quickly take part in surveys. (Some surveys will accept a limited number of participants - first come, first served !!). =Some survey companies will also send you email for other non survey offers - you can delete these rather quickly !!
Find Survey Companies
To join the companies that handle surveys, you must “FIND” them. If you subscribe to my and request my “Action Plan”, you will gain access to a small list of surveys sites that can get you started. If you really want to “JUMP IN”, you can join a survey database company (or what I like to call “survey clubs”). I wanted to jump in so I joined a “club” that was recommended to me. Sign Up with Survey Companies
OK, you have decided to use the list of survey companies listed here, or you are very ambitious and have joined a “survey club” . Now is the time for ACTION !!!! You must know go to each survey company site and give them your “vitals” -- information about you that creates your “profile”. You might see the phrase “screener survey” -- this means that you will take a survey that will be used to classify you for further survey opportunities. These are very important !! Your answers will help determine what surveys are offered to you.For example, many preliminary screeners will ask you about what kind of pets that you have. If you say you have a cat, the company will ask you to join surveys / studies that concern people with cats. So these “screeners” help everyone - you won’t receive a survey about “cats” unless you tell them that cat(s) are part of your household !!
SCREENERS AND BACKGROUND SURVEYS WILL MATCH YOU UP WITH SURVEYS THAT YOU ARE QUALIFIED TO ANSWER !!
When you sign up with a company, make sure you complete the initial steps that they ask you to complete - otherwise you will probably not receive any surveys from that company.
Run YOUR SURVEY BUSINESS
Yes, you must consider this your business !! You will start to receive ALOT of email. If you have signed up with man survey companies, you should be receiving additional screeners, “real” surveys and well - junk mail !! That is why you got your survey email address, remember ? Budget some time each day to go through the emails that you receive. Complete the “screeners”, provide the background information, and delete the junk mail. That is why I say “Run Your Survey Business” - put in the effort and you will be rewarded !
